About Us
Who We Are?
The Movement for Freedom and Democracy in Palestine (MFDP) is dedicated to raising awareness about Palestine, its rich cultural and historical legacy, and the decades-long struggle of its people under occupation. We do this for two important reasons. First, to humanize the Palestinian experience, showing that we all share the same hopes, dreams, and aspirations.
Second, we believe that once people understand the reality—that international support helps sustain one of the longest-lasting military occupations in modern history—they will call for change and demand that global policies shift toward justice and balance for everyone in Palestine.
MFDP’s official positions are communicated through statements, action alerts, press releases, and educational outreach, issued by our national office. Our authorized representatives, including leadership and staff, also convey these positions in their official capacity on behalf of MFDP.
What We Do?
MFDP educates the public and media by organizing educational events, including lectures, workshops, and trainings. We also produce and distribute high-quality educational materials free of charge to politicians, journalists, students, and the general public. Additionally, we collaborate with broad-based coalitions and actively support campus activism through organizations such as Students for Justice in Palestine and Muslim Student Associations.
